报告题目：Numerical solution methods for horizontal and vertical linear complementarity problems

报告摘要：Horizontal and vertical complementarity problems are generalizations of linear complementarity problems and have extensive applications in fields such as quadratic programming, American options, and fluid mechanics. Research on the solvability and numerical solution algorithms of them has certain theoretical significance and practical value. This topic introduces the applications and current research trends of horizontal and vertical complementarity problems, analyzes the solvability of these two types of problems, and discusses the numerical solution algorithms for solving them as well as preconditioning techniques to accelerate algorithm convergence.

主讲人简介：

李继成，西安交通大学领军学者、二级教授、博士生导师。国家高层次人才特殊支持计划教学名师、陕西省高层次特支计划领军人才。（2013-2022）教育部高等学校大学数学课程教学指导委员会秘书长，国家教材委员会数学学科专家委员会委员，高等学校大学数学教学研究与发展中心主任，中国数学会数学教育分会副理事长，中国高教学会教育数学专委会副理事长，《大学数学》期刊副主编，全国大学生数学建模竞赛全国组委会委员。国家首批“大学数学系列课程群虚拟教研室”负责人，国家一流课程（高等数学）主持人。获教学成果奖20余项，包括国家教学级教学成果二等奖（2项）、陕西省优秀教学成果特等奖、一等奖、陕西省优秀教材一等奖等。获工作业绩奖励30余项，包括宝钢全国优秀教师奖，中国大学MOOC优秀教师、新锐奖，王宽诚育才奖，西安交通大学教学杰出贡献奖、教学成就卓越奖、学生最喜爱教师等。主编出版教材4部。主持完成国家级、省级教改项目30余项。主要从事数值代数及其应用、矩阵理论在信息学科中的应用(图象识别、信息处理、文本检索、数据恢复等)等方面的研究，主持完成国家自然科学研究基金面上项目3项，发表科研论文80余篇。
